Slack deleys the working spaces of users from Russia?

The App Store has reviews about the removal of workplace in the Slack corporate messenger from users from Russia. Attention to this was drawn by the VC.ru publication. The material says that there are the same messages on Google Play. After analyzing the online stores, the “paper” was also convinced of this.

According to Russian users, workplace were removed without warning. Moreover, some of them note that this happened after the service was paid for a year. Separate reviews say that the warnings about the removal came after the blocking, specifies vc.ru.

The editors of the publication found four people on social networks by names or nicknames from reviews. Their accounts indicate that they work in different departments of Sberrix. The alleged employees of the company did not comment on Slack information.

The press service of Sberra confirmed to vc.ru that the working spaces of the company's employees in this service are not available. “They were used by less than 5 % of developers' teams. At the moment, they have already switched to alternative products, ”the Savor said.

Slack did not report on blocking accounts from Russia. At the same time, the owner of the service - SalesForce - published a message about the termination of work with Russian clients and transferring $ 2 million to the organization that help Ukrainians. The statement does not specify whether this is Slack.
