Seven million for the "cargo 200". Interview with the family of a Russian who died in Ukraine

In Siberia from Ukraine, zinc coffins with the Russian military are brought for the second week. The Siberia correspondent. Realities managed to talk with the sister of a 21-year-old contractor who died during the so-called "special operation", which the Russian authorities conduct in a foreign country.

On the evening of March 2, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Igor Konashenkov, first voiced the number of dead and wounded military from Russia who took part in "special operations in Ukraine": 498 dead and 1597 wounded.

After the dead, the heads of the Siberian regions began to speak publicly. First, the head of the Republic of Buryatia, Alexei Tsydenov, announced eight dead military personnel, and then it became known that another military man from this republic died in Ukraine-the commander of the Guards Airborne School Brigade Denis Glebov, he was buried on March 6. On the same day in the Trans -Baikal Territory, a farewell passed with Ilya Buldin, "who died during a special operation."

27-year-old Nikolai Shumitsky (from Irkutsk, served in a separate tank battalion in Chechnya, after-in the Crimea), Roman Lazarev (Cheremkhovo) and Alexey Shanarov (the village of Strail in the Nukutsk district) did not return to the Irkutsk region.

On March 9, residents of the village of Chunsky in the Irkutsk region buried a 21-year-old soldier Ilya Vasilenko .

In January, he turned 21 years old. He studied at a technical school for a welder, and then was drafted into the army. After that, he decided to conclude a contract, served in motorized rifle troops in the Far East. Ilya grew up in a foster family.

“Ilya is not a brother, I got into our family when he turned 3 years old,” says the sister of the deceased Daria Ziganshina . - He had two relatives left. In general, 8 children were brought up in our family.

- Why did Ilya join the army under a contract?

- We did not have a military in our family, except that only an uncle and a brother who served in the police. Ilya with pleasure served urgent, thought that this would allow him to get a good job after. But in the end, I decided not to return to the civilian, to sign a contract. He remained to serve in Khabarovsk.

The family was proud of them, always believed that the military is pride. Our dad is convinced that a real man must serve.

But we never thought that he would really have to fight. He is a non -conflict boy in itself. Usually he said that any dispute can be solved by a dialogue, without fights and wars.

- You were not surprised when you found out that he was taking part in “special operations in Ukraine”?

- No one knew about it. In early January, he informed us that he went to exercises. He called from there, said that everything was fine, that there is no need to worry. That they are just standing on the border with Ukraine. On February 23, they contacted his brother for the last time, by video communication. He said that everything was in order, planned to come home in the summer, on vacation. He had a dream - to bring mom and dad on vacation. I did not have time.

"Money will not return our boy to us"

Daria recalls that the family learned about the death of Ilya two days after the invasion of troops in the Russian Federation to the territory of Ukraine - February 26.

- They called us from the military registration and enlistment office and reported that our boy died in Ukraine. "Wait for the cargo 200". We still do not know what exactly happened to him. They say one thing: "died in the implementation of hostilities."

“The death of Ilya was a blow to mom and dad,” says Daria. - He was posthumously given the order of courage. But no one, even a father, this, of course, is no longer pleasing.

- Vladimir Putin announced that families of the military who died in Ukraine will receive insurance payments worth more than 7 million rubles each. How do you feel about this statement?

- We do not think about any money. What kind of money can we talk about? Now we only mentally ask for forgiveness from Ilya for not saving. And what do we need this money? They will not return our boy.

• On February 24, Russia began the so -called "special operation" in Ukraine with the aim of "demilitarization" and "denazification" of the country's leadership. In response to Russian aggression, developed countries imposed sanctions, and more than 250 foreign companies refused to work in Russia. Anti -war protests are held in the country, during which the police detained almost 15 thousand people. The detainees, who made anti -war statements, are charged with a new administrative article on "discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation."
