“Chita.ru”: an employee of a colony in Transbaikalia shot himself in the arm during an exercise, his boss committed suicide two days later in the garage

In Krasnokamensk, Trans-Baikal Territory, on March 20, the deputy head of the security department of correctional colony No. 10 committed suicide, Chita.ru and the telegram channel “Incident Krasnokamensk” claim , citing sources.

According to Chita.ru, an employee of the colony “on March 20 went from work to the garage, wrote a message to his wife and committed suicide.” He cut his neck with a knife, the Krasnokamensk Incident claimed.

He was found alive, but the man “died in the emergency room” of the hospital.

A Chita.ru source explained the suicide by “fear of criminal prosecution due to the injury of a subordinate” during a training exercise on March 18.

“During the shooting process, presumably, one of the [IK-10] employees’ gun jammed. He tried to switch it to his other hand. As a result, he received three gunshot wounds to his right hand. The bullets went right through,” the Krasnokamensk Incident described the incident.
