In Chelyabinsk, the prosecutor's office terminated the administrative case against the former coordinator of Navalny's headquarters, Alexei Tabalov, for inciting hatred towards police officers. This was reported by the Network Freedoms project.
Tabalov was accused of inciting hatred or enmity towards a social group on the professional basis of “police officers” (Article 20.3.1 of the Administrative Code) due to posts published in his Telegram channel on January 24 and February 3. The prosecutor's office considered that the publications contained a "slang", "contemptuous" and "ironic" assessment of this group.
The case was opened in September 2021, but, as Network Freedom writes, the prosecutor’s office did not have time to conduct a sociological examination within six months, and the case was dropped due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.
