American writer Stephen King officially suspended cooperation on all new contracts in Russia. The King agent notified the AST publishing house about this, which publishes the writer's books.
The representative of the publishing house told Vedomosti that the rights to previously purchased works will remain with AST for the duration of the contracts. “But there really will be no new novels and extension of the expired rights for some near future,” he summed up.
King's new novel "Billy Summers" will appear in Russian bookstores on April 6. The representative of AST noted that for some time this novel will be the last novelty of King in Russian.
