Britain imposed sanctions against Gref, Tinkov and Alfa Bank

Britain on Thursday expanded the sanctions list in connection with the Russian armed invasion of Ukraine. The new list has 33 citizens of Russia and 26 legal entities. Sanctions suggest the freezing of assets and a ban on entry into Britain.

Among the sanctions are the head of Sberman Gref, one of the leaders of the same bank Lev Hasis, who lives in the UK, the alleged admission daughter of Sergei Lavrov Polina Kovaleva, the son of the head of Rosneft Igor Sechin Sechin, businessman Oleg Tinkov.

In the list of legal entities-Alfa-Bank, Gazprombank, Alrosa, Russian Railways, Skomflot. It also has several companies from Belarus.

It is expected that today the United States will announce new sanctions against Russia. In Brussels there are NATO, EU and “Semey Groups” summits, on which new measures can be announced in connection with the invasion of Ukraine, which began exactly a month ago.

Britain takes a harsh position in relation to the actions of Russia, accusing it of bombing of civilian objects and civilians in Ukraine. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Thursday stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin "crossed the red line of barbarism." He called for coordinated tightening of Western sanctions.
