The head of the Lviv region Maxim Kozitsky announced two missile strikes within Lviv. According to him, five people were injured as a result. Kozitsky clarified that "information that getting into a residential building or other infrastructure objects was not confirmed." The mayor of Lviv Andrei Sadovy said that the industrial facility was burning, where fuel is stored and confirmed that housing infrastructure was not injured as a result of shelling.

Later, Kozitsky announced another blow in the vicinity of Lviv and three powerful explosions. Sadovy said that as a result, infrastructure objects were significantly injured, but the damage to residential buildings was not caused.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has not yet commented on this information. New Gazeta sent a request to the Russian military department.

During the evening briefing, the official representative of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Igor Konashenkov said that there were battles for Novomikhailovka. The Russian military attack continues at strongholds in Novoselovka and Novobakhmutovka.

Among them: two command posts, 11 field warehouses with weapons and ammunition, two REB stations, as well as 20 strongholds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and 52 of the combat equipment concentration, ”Konashenkov said. Konashenkov claims that in recent days, many Russians “received fake phone calls in which an answering machine has reported their allegedly calling them to the military commissariat.” According to him, such calls come from Ukraine and are a provocation of the special services of this country. “The Russian citizens who are in reserve does not conduct and does not conduct any challenges to the military commissariats of citizens who are in stock,” he emphasized.

Meanwhile, military personnel from the Russian base in South Ossetia, among which there are residents of a partially recognized republic, were sent to participate in hostilities in Ukraine. “These are military personnel of the fourth base of the Russian Federation, deployed in the Republic of South Ossetia. The death of civilians in Ukraine and humanitarian corridors

According to the Office of the Supreme Commissioner of the UN Human Rights (UVKPH), from the beginning of hostilities in Ukraine at least 1104 civilians have died, another 1754 were injured. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that the country's authorities were able to evacuate 37.6 thousand people in humanitarian corridors over the past week. According to him, in a week it was possible to establish the work of 18 humanitarian corridors. “In total, 37,606 people were saved from blocked cities, including the humanitarian corridor from Mariupol to Zaporozhye to take out 26,467 Mariupol residents,” Zelensky said.

French President Emmanuel Macron said that Türkiye, Greece and France want to organize an evacuation from Mariupol. He promised to discuss this issue with the Russian leader Vladimir Putin in the near future.

New Russian laws

Putin signed a law on new anti -crisis measures of tax support in the conditions of sanctions. They provide:

• exemption from paying tax on individuals from material benefits received in 2021-2022;

• the abolition of personal income tax payments from interest income received on deposits in banks in 2021-2022;

• The opportunity for regions to extend until December 31, 2024 the period of the zero tax rate of VAT for persons who first registered as an individual entrepreneur and within two years switched to a simplified or patent taxation system;

• income tax rate for IT companies for 2022-2024 at 0%;

• The mitigation of the “luxury tax” for transport owners: the increase in the coefficient will only affect vehicles worth more than 10 million rubles;

• Removing restrictions on the size of gifts, including veterans of the Great Patriotic War (earlier it was recorded at the level of 10 thousand rubles).

Putin also signed the law on the assignment to the participants of the Russian campaign in Ukraine the status of a war veteran. The Law “On Veterans” was complemented by the clause on “fulfillment of tasks during a special military operation in the territories of Ukraine, the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Lugansk People’s Republic: from February 24, 2022”.

Criminal cases against protesters in Russia and the continuation of media blocking

According to the head of the "Agora" Pavel Chikov, 60 criminal cases were instituted in 22 Russian regions. 46 people became their defendants, two articles of the Criminal Code are blamed for two. Chikov also cited articles by the Criminal Code, on which cases were initiated:

• Ten criminal cases under the new Art. 207.3 of the Criminal Code - about "fakes" about the actions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation,

• Nine cases - under Part 2 of Art. 214 of the Criminal Code (“Vandalism by the motive of hatred”), whose persons were at least three street artists (in Moscow, Vladimir and St. Petersburg).

• Nine cases - under Part 1 of Art. 318 of the Criminal Code (the application of non -hazardous violence to a representative of the authorities).

• The FSB in Kazan and Petrozavodsk is investigating two cases of justification of terrorism (Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code).

According to Chikov, there are business without defendants. “The most common is an article on a knowingly false message about the act of terrorism (part 2 of Article 207 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) - it was used by the police as the basis for investigative actions and the seizure of computers and phones from civil activists and journalists in at least 10 regions of Russia,” he said. Also for these purposes, according to Chikov, the case of slander (Article 128.1 of the Criminal Code) was used on the Governor of the Pskov Region Mikhail Vedernikov and the fraud case (part 1 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) in Novosibirsk.

Roskomnadzor, meanwhile, blocked the site "Polygon.
