The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, is in Mariupol, Akhmed Dudayev, the republic's minister for national policy, foreign relations, press and information, told TASS.
According to Dudayev, "in the direction of Mariupol and in Mariupol itself, fighters from the Chechen Republic are actively and effectively carrying out combat missions." Kadyrov, he added, came there "to raise the morale of our fighters."
“The further strategy of actions of fighters from the Chechen Republic has been additionally corrected and developed. The head brought this information to the chief of the general staff of Russia and to the commander of the National Guard in order to liberate Mariupol in the coming days, ”the agency’s interlocutor added.
The head of Chechnya, according to Dudayev, held a meeting and conference in Mariupol with the commander of the 8th Army, Lieutenant General Andrei Mordvichev, and with the commanders of special forces from Chechnya.
