The coordinator of “Voice” in Ryazan, Sofia Ivanova, was denied the removal of the status of “foreign agent”

The Sovetsky District Court of Ryazan rejected the coordinator of the Ryazan branch of the “Voice” movement, Sofia Ivanova, in a lawsuit challenging the status of a “foreign agent” media outlet. She herself told OVD-Info about this.

On September 29, the Ministry of Justice added Ivanova and 21 other people, as well as 4 independent organizations to the register of media “foreign agents”. Courts in different regions of Russia refuse to remove this status from Golos members.

The Ministry of Justice included Ivanova in the register because of 500 rubles received from a citizen of Uzbekistan and 15 reposts on social networks of materials from Radio Liberty, Meduza and other publications.

• The Golos movement was the first association that the Ministry of Justice included in the register of unregistered “foreign agents.”
