Russia imposed sanctions against the leadership of the European Union

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that in response to the sanctions, it banned the entry of the top leadership of the European Union into the country. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The restrictions apply to the top leadership of the European Union, including a number of European Commissioners and heads of EU military structures, as well as the vast majority of European Parliament members promoting anti-Russian policies,” the ministry said in a statement.

The Russian Foreign Ministry also blacklisted representatives of the governments and parliaments of a number of EU countries, as well as public figures and media workers, "bearing personal responsibility for the promotion of illegal anti-Russian sanctions."

The "black list" itself has not yet been published.
