Students from Russia expended in Europe will continue to study in the Russian Federation

Russian students, unreasonably expelled from European universities, will be able to continue training in the Russian Federation for free. The corresponding decree was signed by the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

“Introductory tests for such students will be held in a simplified manner, which will be determined by the university itself. The course that the student can be enlisted will be determined individually, taking into account his achievements. In this case, he [the student] will be accepted in the order of translation, ”the Cabinet's press service explained.

Russian students will be able to study in budget places or under agreements on paid educational services. At the same time, the cost of such training will be completely compensated at the expense of the university.

A detailed procedure for admission will be developed within ten days, the Government of the Russian Federation noted.

The Ministry of Education and Science claims that they received 850 applications from Russians who study at foreign universities, but want to go to Russian ones. About 200 of them have already been translated, the ministry said. Earlier, the department published a list of domestic universities ready to accept such students.
