
Activist Sofya Semenova, who arranged an action with the burning of a scarecrow in military uniform in St. Petersburg, left Russia. She reported this on social networks.
According to Semenova, she became aware that the prosecutor’s office was going to appeal the preventive measure and achieve the arrest of the activist for the investigation period. Semenova decided to leave the country taking into account the fact that the second participant in the action with the burning of the scarecrow of Igor Maltsev was arrested in March for two months. Semenova Court earlier appointed a ban on certain actions until March 9.
Activists are accused under an article on hooliganism based on political and ideological hatred perfect by a group of people. According to investigators, Maltsev and Semenov burned the scarecrow in military uniform on the ice of Malaya Neva on an anti -war action on March 8. With their actions, activists allegedly "roughly violated public order and showed a clear disrespect for society."
