A case of justification of terrorism was initiated on a resident of Kaliningrad

In Kaliningrad, a criminal case was opened on the justification of terrorism at a 25-year-old resident of the Guryevsky district, the press service of the Office of the Investigative Committee for the region reports .

According to investigators, in 2020 and 2021, on his page on the social network, he posted a video where the leader of one of the international terrorist organizations was justified. Which one is not specified. Also, there were excuses for the actions of Islamic militants. There are two episodes in the criminal case.

The detainee admitted to the crime, he was arrested. SK clarifies that before he was already convicted of robbery and theft.

• Earlier in Kaliningrad, the case was initiated on the justification of terrorism against the local resident Pavel Pervadachuk. He himself stated that he did not know what kind of entry was being discussed, and denied the publication of the forbidden content.
• Another resident of the region was fined 350 thousand rubles for the justification of terrorism on social networks. The man was found guilty due to a record in VKontakte, where he published a post in support of the attack in New Zealand. Lyudmila Stech received a similar fine, she made a repost of the report of the self -brying of anarchist Mikhail Zhlobitsky in the Arkhangelsk FSB.
• In March 2019, the 25-year-old Kaliningrad anarchist Vyacheslav Lukichev was fined for placing the text about him by 300 thousand. Before that, he spent four months in jail. Later he succeeded in compensation in the ECHR in the amount of 1700 euros.
• In June 2020, the Chechen Aitahaji Khalimov, living in Kaliningrad, received 3.5 years in colonies for repost in social networks about the Chechen war.
• In December 2021, the court fined a 31-year-old resident of Kaliningrad for 400 thousand rubles for the repost of Shamil Basayev’s interview on his VKontakte page.
