The Ministry of Education demanded from universities to transfer the video from YouTube

The Ministry of Education and Science of Russia sent a letter to universities demanding to transfer content from YouTube to Russian platforms until April 4. This was reported by NGS24.ru, which received such a letter at the disposal.

Universities are recommended to transfer video content to Rutube and VKontakte. The authenticity of the letter was confirmed by the publication in several educational institutions, some of them reported that they had fulfilled such a requirement a month ago.

In early March, YouTube, which belongs to Google Corporation, blocked the channels of the Russian media that receive state financing. YouTube referred to the rules of the company prohibiting content, which "denies, minimizes or trivializes well -documented events associated with violence." The restrictions were RT, Sputnik, the TASS, NTV, VGTRK, Channel One, Moscow 24.

The Russian authorities threatened YouTube by blocking. "YouTube must follow the law, or will be blocked," Senator Andrei Klishas told RIA Novosti.

Roskomnadzordemanded from Google to unlock on YouTube channels of the GOSTRENIARIDOMOND. RKN claims that he recorded on YouTube "about 60 acts of censorship in relation to media pages, educational film projects, Russian public figures and organizations."

On March 10, YouTube notified users that completely stops the monetization of the authors on the Russian audience, including the Premium, Music Premium, sponsorship, superchalets, super -stitchers and merchants.

According to Brand Analytics in October 2021, there were more than 8.5 million authors in YouTube (users who left at least one comment or lay out content) from Russia, and the number of publications was 28 million a month.
