Lithuania imposed sanctions against Russian TV presenter Artem Sheinin

Lithuania introduced financial sanctions against the TV presenter Channel One Artem Sheinin. This was reported by LRT with reference to the investigation of financial crimes.

The authorities arrested an apartment with an area of more than 100 square meters in the resort city of Palang, which belongs to the Shein and his wife. The cost of real estate, according to the 2014 estimate, amounted to almost 60 thousand euros. It is noted that at the moment the cost will be much higher.

• The United States has created an international group to search and arrest the assets of the Russian elite in the West. It included representatives of Australia, Great Britain, Canada, Japan, Germany, France, Italy and the European Commission, the US Department of Finance reports . The group members also received a list of 50 people on whom they should focus their attention.
