Yandex CEO in Russia and HR director of the company Elena Bunina left Russia, The Bell found out. She announced this at an internal corporate forum.
“I will not return: I cannot work in a country that is at war with its neighbors,” the head of the Russian company wrote (the message is available to The Bell). According to Bunina, she has not been to Russia since the end of February, and now she works in the Israeli office of Yandex.
Elena Bunina became the HR director of Yandex in January 2011 and has been working as CEO since December 2017. She will leave her position as head of the Russian Yandex LLC on April 15, and will transfer other roles in the company gradually.
According to the press service, Artem Savinovsky has been appointed acting CEO of Yandex in Russia. Prior to that, he headed the Media Services division.
