Near Krasnoyarsk, a rural deputy was arrested for stabbing his wife to death and dumping the body in a forest dump

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a court arrested a 51-year-old resident of the village of Taseevo, who admitted to killing his wife, reports the regional department of the Investigative Committee. This is a deputy of the district council, Alexander Khakonov, clarifies NGS24.ru .

According to investigators, on the evening of March 28, Khakonov quarreled with his 35-year-old wife Elena while they were drinking, hit her with his hand, and then stabbed her twice in the chest. After this, Khakonov took the body by car to the forest and threw it out at a landfill, “sprinkling it with snow and branches” (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code).

That same evening, Khakonov contacted the police with a complaint about his wife’s disappearance. An announcement about her was published in a local group on VKontakte to search for missing people. On March 31, the body was found in a landfill. “After the evidence was presented to the suspect, he admitted to what he had done,” the Investigative Committee said in a press release.

Khakonov was a deputy from the LDPR; on the district council’s website he is presented as the secretary of the budget commission. According to Taiga.info , Khakonov was engaged in logging business, and a farm was registered in his name.

As wrote NGS24.ru , a warehousing company was also registered in the name of the murdered Elena Khakonova; she was also the head of a company from Krasnoyarsk engaged in logging.
