The Investigative Committee for the Leningrad Region opened a criminal case under an article on the provision of services that do not meet security requirements against employees of the Dream Children's Highlighting camp after violence against one of the children. The investigation believes that "socially dangerous acts from older children" could occur to an eight-year-old boy due to the lack of counselors and educators.
The department does not give the details of what happened to the child. The report of the Investigative Committee specifies that the reason for the initiation of the case became publications in the media. "Paper" writes that we can talk about the publications of Fontanka, 47news and the 78 TV channel. These publications, citing a source in law enforcement agencies, reported that a 34-year-old resident of St. Petersburg filed an application with the police about the possible sexual violence against his son from older children. The man claimed that the incident occurred during the spring shift in the "dream".
The camp management did not make any official statement on this subject, they also refused to comment on what happened there, the “paper” notes.
