Roskomnadzor threatened to block the Kholod magazine because of the article “Don’t give birth during curfew” about Marianna Vyshemirskaya, a girl who was in the Mariupol maternity hospital during the shelling in early March. The publication itself reports this.
The agency demanded that the note be removed because it believes that the text contains false information about the “special operation” on the territory of Ukraine.
On April 4, RKN demanded that Kholod remove the article “Russia started a war with Ukraine. What you need to know" under threat of blocking. The editors complied with the requirement.
