Human rights group “Citizen. Army. Pravo" fined under the law on foreign agents

The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow fined the Human Rights Group Citizen. Army. Pravo“” due to the fact that human rights defenders themselves did not appear in the register of “foreign agents”. The court found the organization guilty under Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offenses - "Violation of the procedure for the activities of a non-profit organization performing the functions of a foreign agent."

The interests of the organization are represented by lawyer Arseniy Levinson.

The Ministry of Justice introduced “Citizen. Army. Pravo” to the register of NPO agents on December 3, 2021. The association is engaged in helping conscripts and military personnel.
