Until April 5, 2022, all subscriptions to the Republic were issued through the Yukass service. However, due to the blocking of the REPULIC website in the Russian Federation, the service refused to work with us, referring to its internal rules (it is important that this is not prohibited by Russian law). Maybe it matters here that Yukassa is affiliated with the state Sberbank.

Nothing happened to your already paid subscription: she continues to work, we received money for her. In addition, we have already found a reliable and safe replacement of Yukassa for new subscriptions. And we can continue to accept subscribers from Russia. The problem is that we cannot transfer the subscriptions already issued in Yukass to the new payment system ourselves.

Therefore, if you had a paid subscription until April 5, 2022, then when it ends, the payment from your card will not be possible to process. To maintain a subscription to Republic, you will need to enter your card data on the site and re -subscribe. You can do this right now here .

Money will be written off from you for the selected period (month or year), after which this period will be added to your current subscription. That is, even if you are still far from the end of your current subscription, you can still update the subscription through the new payment system right now and do not pay twice for access time. The new subscription will simply be added to the existing one.
