A journalist from the newspaper “Rabochiy Kontrol” was detained near the Trinity Forest

Yegor Baranov, a correspondent for the newspaper Rabochy Kontrol, was detained near Troitsky Forest, where tree cutting continues. Baranov himself reported this to OVD-Info.

The journalist was broadcasting live from the Trinity Forest, where construction equipment arrived to carry out work. Local residents began to block the way for the builders and demanded that the police check the documents of the timber truck.

At the moment, only Yegor Baranov has been detained. The moment of his detention was published by the public “For the Preservation of the Trinity Forest”. He was taken to the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Leskhoznaya Street in Troitsk. He is charged with disobedience to the demands of police officers (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

22:02 A lawyer from OVD-Info said that a lawyer was not allowed to see Yegor Baranov, his request was rejected. Presumably, the policemen invited attesting witnesses, as the detainee refused to sign the documents.
