Great Britain imposed sanctions against Kum Putin and billionaires

The UK expanded the sanctions list and introduced 206 businessmen and politicians from Russia, as well as members of their families.

The document includes the head of Lukoil Vagit Alekperov, the owner of the AFK "System" Vladimir Yevtushenkov, as well as the former beneficiary of Kuzbassegly Andrei Bokarev.

A number of businessmen fell under the sanctions: billionaires Farhad Akhmedov, Vladimir Bogdanov, Igor Kesaev, other participants in the Russian Forbes list Musa Bazhaev and Grigory Berezkin. The list also has the wife of billionaire Timchenko Elena and the son of billionaire Suleiman Kerimov Said.

Under the sanctions were Kum of Vladimir Putin Viktor Medvedchuk, wife Sergey Lavrova Maria, son of deputy Alexander Babakov Mikhail. The sanctions were imposed on the ex-head of the "Russian railways" Vladimir Yakunin and Presidential Assistant Andrei Fursenko.
