Ukrainian court arrested 154 property of Medvedchuk property

The court in Ukraine arrested 154 objects of movable and immovable property of the arrested pro -Russian politician Viktor Medvedchuk and his wife Oksana Marchenko. This was stated by the State Bureau of Investigations of Ukraine.

According to the above data, among the arrested property of 26 cars, 30 land plots, 23 houses, 32 apartments, 17 parking spaces and a motor yacht. The arrest also frauded in the authorized capital in 25 companies, whose beneficial owner is Viktor Medvedchuk or his wife.

The report of the arrest of property followed 2 days after the detention of Medvedchuk, who fled from house arrest after the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, was announced. It is alleged that for more than a month and a half he was hiding in a rented mansion right in Kiev.

The head of the Security Service of Ukraine Ivan Bakanov said that Medvedchuk wanted to secretly move to a self -proclaimed Transnistria, but the Ukrainian intelligence services tore off the plan. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky invited the Russian authorities to exchange Medvedchuk for prisoners of the Ukrainian military.
