Alfa-Bank's application was removed from the App Store store on the iOS platform. This was announced by the telegram channel of the bank.

"If you have the latest version, it will continue to work quickly and reliably. The only inconvenience - the application will not be possible to install on an iPhone," the report said. As an alternative, users are offered an alpha-online Internet bank.

The bank said that they would return to the App Store: "We hope, very soon."

Earlier from the App Store and Google Play, they removed the Sberbank mobile application and eight of its projects. Github also blocked the accounts of Sberus, Alfa-Bank and individual individual developers from Russia due to US sanctions.

Alfa-Bank, together with the RSHB, ICD and Gazprombank, fell under the US sector sanctions. They are limited to the placement of new shares, the provision of financing and other operations with new debt obligations with a maturity of more than 14 days.

Sberbank fell under the more stringent US sanctions: immediately after the start of the war in Ukraine, it was added to the Capta list, which implies restrictions on the states. American banks were forbidden to conduct transactions with the participation of Sberbank and his foreign daughters.

VTB sanctions led to the blocking of assets in the United States and accounts in dollars.

On April 12, sanctions against Alfa Bank and Sberbank were introduced by Japan. Their assets will be frozen, and transactions with them are prohibited in the country since May 12.
