On April 15, the Ministry of Justice included another nine more people in the register of media-foreign agents. Now in the registry 142 records. The vast majority of "media - foreign agents" - not organizations, but individuals, mainly journalists

The artist, known for his political and social caricatures for many publications (including for many years, has been cooperating with Radio Liberty and Deutsche Welle), Sergey Yolkin left Russia on the eve of its inclusion in the list of foreign agents - April 13th.

- I learned about my inclusion in the register only from you now. I did not have any insidies in advance on the topic. I don’t know if this is due to my departure, ”says Yalkin. - This is quite unexpected, so I am not even aware of those requirements that are presented to those who have entered the register. I will look for a lawyer, think after a conversation with him what to do.

Ekaterina Shulman (political scientist, teacher, publicist) left Russia shortly before the last update of the List of the Ministry of Justice. Then she said that she left Germany as a scholarship holder of the Robert Bosch Foundation and was not going to portray "a great victim of repression than it really is."

"The system is increasingly busy eating people, and it limits itself less and less in this activity. Last weeks have deprived us of the defense or hopes for compensation that the European Court of Human Rights provided. We have left alone with ourselves. At the same time, the expansion of the nonsense that our civil society is pulled out is increasing. In other words, the circle of people who are subjected to represses for their political position or for non -wishes are expanded. To express the “correct” position, or even by chance.

Yuri Dud is a journalist, the author of the Udud YouTube channel, who has more than 10 million subscribers, the last issue of the channel devoted to refugees from Ukraine and volunteers who help them in Europe.

“The big problem with all this“ Russian world ”is that this is an empty idea. The empire should carry something. The“ Russian world ”does not carry anything. No options, no prospects for cultural development, there is nothing there. "My turn has come"

Journalist Alexei Semenov (poet, journalist, journalist. Ex-facetor of the independent publication “Pskov Province”; co-author of the book “Russia and Ukraine. Days of the eclipse”; collaborates with the North. Reali) says that he has long been waiting for his turn, although he was not completely sure that it was he who included him.

- The name and surname are too common. Now I find out whether it is definitely talking about me. The list this time is quite impressive. In it, there are many who have left, as I understand it, Dobrootov, for example, Dud, I also think, not in Russia, Shulman left Grant. I did not have such plans [for leaving Russia] and no, ”says the journalist. - I think that people who have a life position that does not correspond to the current “norm” fall into the list. Only for this reason. I am not some full-time employee of foreign organizations, there are no foreign grants. Most likely, within the framework of a common campaign, in other words, my turn has come, my last name. I specifically say so, my last name, because maybe this is not me, who knows. Now I will contact lawyers who already have experience in protecting "foreign agents", with a Ministry of Justice. Whether the materials, whether to submit reports - I will decide everything solely after consulting with a lawyer. I just tried not to think about this topic, to be honest. If we proceed from experience, then yes, probably, some formal things will have to be done. My plans have not changed from this. For me, this is not some kind of blow. Moreover, something unexpected. The bureaucratic machine has been launched for a long time, it goes and rides.

Roman Dobrokhotov , previously declared after initiating a criminal case on the illegal crossing of the state border (part 1 of article 322 of the Criminal Code; according to investigators, the journalist crossed the Russian-Ukrainian border bypassing the checkpoints in the autumn of 2021), says that he is not going to observe the requirements for foreign agents.

- Of course, we will not follow the instructions of the Nazi Gauleiters, we will work to have the head of the Ministry of Justice of Chuychenko (former accomplice of the criminal Mogilevich), and Vladimir Putin appeared as soon as possible for court for his crimes. We hope to continue to bring the denazification and demilitarization of Russia closer to our journalistic investigations, ”says Dobrookhotov. - I say this for myself and for the publication at once. Personally, I am the requirements of the Ministry of Justice - to set the “fucking” (labeling of foreign agent) and I will not fulfill LLC - I will not perform.

The Insider publication was included in the register of "Ino -Agents" in July 2021, after which Dobrokhotov and his parents were searched for slander. In September 2021, Dobrokhotov left Russia and was put on the wanted list. The Insider is known for his investigations. In particular, journalists, together with Western colleagues, found out that an attempt on the opposition politician Alexei Navalny in Tomsk was made by a group of eight FSB operatives. The identities of employees involved in the poisoning of employees are established by comparing the data of honeycomb phone data with offline data databases.

Vologda journalist Kirill Kruglikov (regional coordinator of the Voice of Honest Elections; collaborates with the North. Realia and Radio Liberty), the message about his inclusion in the register of the media-foreigners received directly at the airport-on April 15, he was going to return to Russia, but after the news, he changed his mind on the aircraft.

-I am already the 140th in the list of "foreign agents", so to some extent I expected that they should add me. But against the backdrop of the war, I forgot that there is such a list in general, there are more important things to do, and the last additions of “foreign agents” were not so loud. I am a little shocked, confused, I don’t know what to do, ”the journalist admits. - Now I am not in Russia, I was at the airport to return, but now for obvious reasons I decided to postpone it. Just half an hour before landing, I found out that I was added to the list, found luggage and I think what to do next.

"We need to put a seal on people"

The head of the Far Eastern public movement Mayak, who since 2016 provides legal and socio-psychological assistance to representatives of the LGBT community and women affected by violence, the register of Dzugkoeva Minoust included the register of the functions of a foreign agent, four months after the labeling of the two organizations that it leads-the “lighthouse” and the autonomous non-commercial organization under the non-commercial organization implementation of social and legal programs "Lilith".

-The in agent did not surprise me, I speak out both against the war, and there is a lot of against what, according to LGBT tack. But it is strange that this inclusion of me, it turns out, was equated with a full -fledged media. And I'm not such a media figure that they are my thousand subscribers?! But we know that people are included in these registers on the most strange grounds-on April 1, for example, Anna Golubeva, psychologist of the Center "Resource of LGBTKIA Moscow", was equated to the media-foreigners. I am subscribed to her in social networks - she is publicly rarely expressed. It is not clear why she suddenly is a foreign agent, and even the media?! I think they want to isolate us from society, which is quite shy in Russia. They need to put a seal on those who are “knocked out”, marching us with “pink triangles”, so that the majority is afraid to cooperate with us.

- Your organizations "missed" back in December. People have stopped cooperating with you?

- You know, no. Maybe there was little time for now, but everyone who collaborated with us - and this is a large number of medical centers, many lawyers, psychologists of the Far East - everyone remained, not scared. On the contrary, the Ministry of Justice thereby even increased our recognition, publicity - even more communities of psychologists and even more medical institutions have learned about us, they are already applying from all over Russia.

Dzgukoeva has so far decided to stay in Primorye and all the requirements for those who got into the register to observe: "Otherwise, all the accounts, all cards will block, but I can’t work without them."

Maria Sabunaeva , gender psychologist, writer, head of the Russian LGBT network psychological service (in November 2021, the Russian LGBT net was recognized as a foreign agent), notes that the Russian authorities through the register of the Ministry of Justice have been repressed consistently in relation to those who help the elders of the LGB-community.

- Nothing unexpected. A month ago, information passed that the Ministry of Justice would replenish his registers with those who have ever worked in organizations recognized by foreign agents. And I worked at once in two of these-the LGBT organization “Exit” and NPOs “Russian LGBT network”-the fact that they were recognized as foreign agents again-no one helps LGBT movements in Russia, they live only on foreign grants. And they did what they promised to do. The inclusion itself did not upset me.

Even when these registers were created, it was clear that in fact this would become an instrument of political persecution. It is a great honor to be in the same list with Karen Shainyan, Ekaterina Shulman, Yuri Dudem and many other "foreign agents". Friends call all day, congratulate: “Masha, this is now a quality mark“ a decent person. ”It seems to me that the Ministry of Justice is engaged in the fact that he forms a list of those who will become a guide to build the best future of Russia. The fact that the current regime does not like these people - a certain positive marking,” says Sabunaeva.

The Ministry of Justice has been maintaining a register of media-agents since 2017. In December 2020, individuals were first included in it, who were thereby equalized with the media. In the first four months of 2022, a little more than 30 positions were added to the list. As a rule, the list of foreign agents is replenished on Fridays. Last time, the register was expanded a week ago, April 8th. Then it was brought to the rapper Face, lawyer Roman Feigin, teacher of the Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg Dmitry Dubrovsky, as well as journalists Irina Tumakov, Andrei Filimonov and Ekaterina Mayakovskaya. The defendants in the list should report on their income and expenses, as well as putting the dick “This message is widespread by the Ino -Agent” for all their public materials, including posts in social networks.
