In the suburbs, a regular participant in the Free Russia forum Sergei Mikhailov was detained. According to available information, he is charged with Part 2 of Art. 207.3. The Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Public distribution of knowingly false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation." He faces 5 to 10 years in prison.

We express our categorical protest against the arrest of our comrade and demand his immediate liberation. It is obvious that the new article of the Putin Russia Criminal Code, applied to it, is aimed at suppressing any criticism of war, unleashed by the Russian dictator against Ukraine and to prevent the spread of true information about this war. Putin's regime is afraid of the truth and fights with her.

The criminal prosecution of Sergei Mikhailov is part of the Putin repressions against Russian society, a direct continuation of the policy of intimidation of Russian citizens who have been trying to take advantage of their civil rights, including the right to freely disseminate information.

We say directly that we will establish everyone who will take part in the persecution of Sergei, and bring them to our “Putin List”, which will be subsequently transferred to the authorized authorities of the free world in order to bring all these people to the sanctions lists of these countries. We will make a dossier on those executioners of the Putin regime that will take part in the reprisal of Sergey in order to fix their personal data and crimes they committed, so that in the future, after the fall of the Putin regime, to hold all these people accountable for complicity in political repressions.

There is still an opportunity to avoid this responsibility, refusing to participate in political repressions. Refuse to pursue Russian citizens who spread the truth about the war, leave the case or take off your bodies and then you can avoid responsibility in the future!
