On April 11, an activist lay down on the sidewalk near the Millennium of Russia monument on the Kremlin territory, covering himself with a Ukrainian flag in the image of a bag for the bodies of those killed.
On April 14, the court arrested Gorban for seven days under a protocol of disobedience to the National Guard during arrest due to the activist’s refusal to identify himself and go with them into a patrol car (Part 1 of Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code). In a video from the rally, one National Guard employee stood over Gorban and repeated: “Get up, I say, young man!”
On April 18, he was fined 45 thousand rubles because of the action itself under the article on “discrediting” the actions of the Russian military abroad (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code).
