Russia has declared diplomats from the Bulgarian Embassy in Moscow persona non grata. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the publication, on April 18, the department handed the Bulgarian Ambassador to Russia Atanas Kristin a note declaring embassy employees persona non grata. The Foreign Ministry calls this decision a retaliatory measure for assigning a similar status to ten Russian diplomats in Sofia.
