Roskomnadzor blocked the website of the Russian Planet

Roskomnadzor, at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office, blocked access to the website of the Russian Planet publication, RoskomSvoboda reported this.

The Prosecutor General’s Office decided to block on April 16, on April 20, the department blocked one link - to the article that mothers were allowed to pick up Russian soldiers captured in Ukraine. But now the entire website of the publication does not open.

The Russian Planet appeared in 2013, it was indirectly associated with protests in Bolotnaya Square in Moscow. The publication published articles on politics and social sphere. After 2014, it became pronounced.

• On February 25, Roskomnadzor warned the media that they should use only official Russian sources in covering war in Ukraine. For violation of this instruction, the department threatened with locks and fines. After that, almost all independent publications in Russia were blocked, some of them stopped working.
