The investment company Interros announced the purchase of a 35% trust of Oleg Tinkov's family in the TCS Group (Tinkoff group). This was reported by the press service in its telegram channel.
The purchase price and terms were not disclosed. The Bank of Russia has already approved the deal.
“I am proud that, together with my team, I built the best bank in the country from scratch. Consensus in our industry is the best digital bank in the world and based in Russia. Now it's time to retire and take care of your health and family,” Oleg Tinkov, founder of the group, commented on the sale.
The TCS Group includes Tinkoff Bank, Tinkoff Insurance, Tinkoff Mobile and others. The founder of Interros is billionaire Vladimir Potanin. “As a long-term financial investor, Interros is interested in the Tinkoff Group continuing to occupy a leading position in the Russian banking market,” he said.
