Most of the evacuated yesterday with Azovstal did not want to stay in the "DPR"

On Monday morning, the evacuation of civilians from Mariupol is being evacuated. This was announced by the mayor of the city Pyotr Andryushchenko. A video with evacuation buses appeared in social networks. The column goes from Mariupol in the direction of Berdyansk, and then in Zaporozhye, which is under the control of the Ukrainian authorities.

We are talking about the evacuation of people located in areas controlled by the Russian troops, and wished to leave for Zaporozhye. How many people left the city is still unknown.

Today, the evacuation of civilians from the territory of the Azovstal plant, which was held by the Ukrainian military, was also supposed to continue. On the eve, according to the Ukrainian side, with the mediation of the UN and the Red Cross, more than 100 people managed to evacuate, today they must arrive in Zaporozhye.

The separatists of the so -called "DPR", in turn, said that during yesterday 80 civilians were evacuated from the territory of Azovstali. According to the report, 11 of them wished to stay on the territory controlled by the separatists, and the remaining 69 - to go to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

According to estimates, in Mariupol, almost completely destroyed during the Russian siege and assault of the city, about 100 thousand civilians can remain, including several hundred - in the dungeons on Azovstal. The operation on their evacuation with the participation of the UN began on April 30.

Ukraine previously accused Russia of violent deportation of residents of Mariupol to the territory of Russia. The Russian authorities claim that they do not deport the inhabitants, but open for them "humanitarian corridors."

The number of dead inhabitants of Mariupol is not known, at the moment you can rely only on estimates, according to which there are from several thousand to tens of thousands.
