The village of Selenumum is located in the Selenginsky district 160 kilometers from the capital of Buryatia Ulan-Ude. The village surround the steppe and hills. In Soviet times, the Mesaniyan Plant worked here and people of different nationalities gathered in Selendum: Russians, Buryats, Tatars, Armenians. After the collapse of the USSR, the plant was closed and the village began to quickly empty. Now out of 10 thousand inhabitants in Selendum there are only 2.7 thousand. There are many abandoned houses and few trees. There is almost nowhere to work, so men go to the army - serve on a contract.

23 military from Selenduma left for the "special operation" to Ukraine. This is approximately every hundredth of the entire population of the village. In mid-March, 19-year-old Selenduman Andrei Dandarov died. He was buried at the end of March at the rural cemetery. A week after the funeral in the Selendum, an automotive racket was held in support of the special operation “We don’t throw our own”, and after two-the children's contest of the military-patriotic song “Soldier’s envelope”.

“The mourning is everything is clear,” says Inga Shornikova, head of the selenium house of culture. “But you won’t return a soldier.” And we need to bring to the minds of our youth that all these guys died for us. So that we can live on peacefully. ”

Inga calls patriotic classes with children "super -task." This is a theatrical term meaning the highest goal that must be achieved when staging a play.

"This must be planted on a teenage audience"

A week after the concert, Inga Shornikova argues that it lies with a great responsibility, because patriotism should be brought up by the younger generation in the recreation center and clubs. “At school, children feel restrained, there they are in the framework,” Inga thinks. - And we have freedom. What song they want, they will sing. Here, the seed of patriotism very clearly lies on the children. This should be actively imposed on a teenage audience. ”

Inga is ready to carry out even more patriotic events. “If we have manifestations of fascism [in Ukraine], it turns out that we missed something somewhere,” she argues. “We are doubly and tier to speak more, write, sing songs, conduct some kind of courage lessons in order to convey to each head of the child, what horror it is and what a atrocities.”

Shornikova writes scripts to all patriotic events in Selendum - from a car flash mob to a funeral rally. Inga wanted the racket in the Selendum to go "spectacularly and beautifully beautifully." Inga Shornikova supports the “special operation”. She believes that the civilian population of Ukraine must be saved from nationalists - "scumbags and maniacs."

"Like a Russian face, but it seems not"

“Andrei’s mother was Russian, dad was Buryat. You look at him - like a Russian face, but it seems not, ”says the head of the rural administration Tsydendorzhi Buyantuev.

Dandarov’s mother died when the boy was three years old. Father with his family did not live. Andrei and her elder brother Alexander was brought up by his grandmother. When Andrei was 16 years old, his grandmother died. So that the guy is not taken to the orphanage, he was taken under the guardianship of the neighbor Maria Tkacheva.

All Selenumers call Andrei Dandarov a kind, wonderful guy. In all the photos, he smiles. “Andrei always helped someone,” says his physical education teacher Dantar Nikolaev. “He taught the guys who was poorly tightened, how best to achieve it.” According to Nikolaev, Andrei was in excellent physical shape, ran well for long distances.

In middle classes, Dandarov went to the Cossack children's club. Its participants sang Cossack songs, danced, played sports. “The Cossacks showed a good rod in us, the will to win, so that we are like that - wow! - says Andrei's friend Alena naked. - And Andrei liked all this. After the ninth grade, Dandarov entered the agro -industrial college, but soon quit his studies. He was drafted into the army. A video hangs in the selenium -thought social networks, where the family congratulates him on his birthday and gives him a cake. “Come here,” calls Andrei guardian Maria Tkacheva. “You are mine ... Happy Birthday!” With a call! " Shortly cut Dandarov smiles and blows all the candles. Andrei will celebrate that birthday with a cake on July 31, in the fall it will be called to the 11th Air Assistance Brigade in Ulan-Ude, in December it will sign a contract. In January, Dandarov will be sent to exercises in Novorossiysk, in February - for a "special operation". On March 12, he will be killed in Ukraine.

Andrei's closest relatives refuse to talk with LB reporters. His brother Alexander writes: "I cannot give any detailed information."

The guardian Maria Tkacheva first agrees to chat and tells by phone: she is not considered a close relative of Andrei, so they may not give compensation for the death of the guy. But before a personal meeting with journalists, Maria goes to the military enlistment office. “I need all these military leaders to look in the eyes,” writes Tkacheva. After communicating with the military, Maria refuses to meet and sends SMS: “We will not give interviews. The military unit asked not to do this. ”

When LB journalists try to contact Alexander Dandarov, Maria calls back and shouts into the phone: “If you continue it, I will turn where it should.”

"He did not have time in his life"

Andrei Dandarov was buried with all the village. The coffin with the body of Andrei was carried in his arms from the House of Culture, where the memorial service was held, to the cemetery. This is about a kilometer. On the way, they made a stop at the house where Dandarov lived in childhood. Local authorities do not advise reporters to go to this house, because there is "ugly." “Well, you see, drinking relatives,” the officials say. We are going anyway - because there are relatives of Andrei, who may want to talk to us.

Now Uncle Andrei - Sergey lives in the house. A new Russian tricolor flutters over the building, a kudlat dog is sleeping in a dusty court. The door to the house is closed. The neighbor Vyacheslav comes to the rescue and hits the door for a long time with his foot: "Seryoga, open, then the journalists arrived." Then Vyacheslav gets tired and begins to reason: “Andryukha died for Ukraine, on *** Bandera e ***. Who, fucking, was 19 years old. And they don’t take me there. He came to the military enlistment office - they said: go home, rest. ”

Sergey is not at home, the door in the end opens his roommate Nadezhda. She does not let in the room where Andrei lived: "It is too dirty there." But it takes to the hall where there is a corner of the memory of Dandarov. Hope made this corner with Sergey - immediately after the funeral. A crumpled Russian flag lies on the closet, they covered Dandarov’s coffin at the funeral.

Hope cannot answer whether the “special operation” was needed in Ukraine. “I am far from politics. I do not know what is needed there and what is not, ”she says. - We are little people, we can do not affect the situation in the country and in the world. We just live. And to us, frankly, by and large we are not up to it. Because you don’t know sometimes how to get out of some situations. People who are standing or sitting at the top, know better. ”

The woman looks at the portrait of Dandarov. “The fact that strong young guys are dying is sorry for the pain in the heart,” she adds. - It's not normal that such young guys are dying. He did not have time in his life. No family, no children. It just happened. "

Hope did not participate in a patriotic rally because she did not hear about him. “But, if I knew, it would have been,” she says, and tears dry on her cheeks. “It's like a tribute to the dead.”

Hope supports the "special operation". She believes that at such a time "you have to be on the side of the homeland, because it is patriotic."

"Well, which is a military man from Andrei"

“Yes, we are all patriots here,” says the cleaning lady of the selenium school Larisa Kazachikhina. She has a blue jacket with flying white birds, similar to pigeons. “They would call [on ... with Ukraine] - I would go to fight without any.”

Larisa stands in line in the semi -bay corridor of the administration of the Selenuma settlement. She came to the reception at the MFC. Portraits of Selenums who died in military operations hang on the wall on the wall. Including Andrei Dandarov.

Both sons of Kazachikhina are contractors, now they are in Ukraine. One 22 years, the other - 24. The elder calls home often, at every opportunity. And the youngest is rare.

Kazachikhina shrugs when he talks about her experiences about his sons. “Yes, it’s normal,” she thinks. “We just don’t get hung up that something is going on there.” Serving and serving. " Larisa does not like that some villagers condemn her because the sons became contractors: “Like, if I taught them well, they would not be military, but by someone else. It's a shame to hear. The class teacher Andrei Svetlana Tsydypova also does not understand why he became a military man. “He had a completely different interest,” she says. - The humanitarian profile was a tendency. I did not expect Andrei to connect the fate with the army. ”

With Tsydypova, LB journalists meet at school. She leads a story in the office of military glory. Behind her are portraits of Selenums, who died in wars and “special operations”. Recently hung a portrait of Andrei. Svetlana relies on the desk with white fingers. At the funeral of Andrei Dandarov, Svetlana was invited to speak with a speech - as a class teacher. But she refused. “I would not restrain myself because of my son,” she says quieter. “Because I, as a mother, understand what is happening there.”

Svetlana Tsydypova supports the "special operation". She believes that "8 years on this is all terrible from the Nazis, no one paid attention to Bandera."

"They have the concept of" homeland "

In the Great Patriotic War, 386 Selenumtsev went to the front. Almost half died - 180 people. In their honor, a monument to victory was erected in the village and knocked out the names of all those killed on memorial boards. But there was no repair here for a long time.

Now the main place for the pride of Selenums is a square of memory of fellow countrymen who died in Chechnya and Afghanistan. It was built in 2018. This is the only place in the village that is paved with paving slabs. In the depths of the square - black marble blocks with portraits and surnames of the dead. To the right of it is the closed building of the rural library. On the left is the Orthodox temple, it is also closed. Behind the fence there is a howitzer of the Second World War, it was presented to the village of the Republican organization "Battle Brotherhood". The muzzle of howitzers is deployed towards the church.

On the front door in the square there is a lock. The key is stored across the road, in the Smile store. The head of the settlement of Tsydendorzhi Buyantuev goes to the “smile” for the key. “Some asocial people can sit here, drink,” Tsyden explains why they close the square. “I had to fence off from them.”

When Russia ends the “special operation”, another monument will be added to the selenium square - in honor of Dandarov. “I hope we have no more dead,” says Tsydendorzhi Buyantuev. -Although this is a feat-to give a life for freedom, for a bright future. Патриотический автопробег в Селендуме провели через неделю после похорон Дандарова. В сельские магазины за несколько дней до этого завезли российские и бурятские флаги — чтобы украшать автомобили. Маленькие флажки шли по 150 рублей, большие — от 500 рублей и выше. Сельчане раскупили всё.

Пробег начался у школьного стадиона, где одновременно открыли детский футбольный турнир. До этого здесь же прошёл митинг, который вела завклубом Инга Шорникова. «Говорит и показывает Селендума! — объявила Инга в микрофон. — Сегодня мы проводим автопробег и турнир в поддержку спецоперации на Украине!» Инга подняла свободную руку вверх. Зрители замахали бело-сине-красными воздушными шариками и закричали «ура». Футболисты пронесли мимо зрителей огромный российский флаг. Потом все разделились: дети остались играть в футбол, а остальные расселись по машинам.

Участвовали в пробеге 54 машины. Автопробег прошёл по главным селендумским улицам: Школьной, Ленина, Трактовой, Молодёжной. Почти все улицы села не асфальтированы, поэтому машины ехали в клубах пыли. В некоторых местах было особо много выбоин, и автомобили сбавляли скорость и двигались медленно.

На площади около памятника Победы все остановились. Водители выстроили свои машины в букву Z. Взлетел дрон, его привезли сотрудники районной администрации. Дрон заснял и Z, и всё, что вокруг: заброшенное здание сельского универмага, развалины заводских общежитий, пыльную площадь, старые тополя.

Житель Селендумы Сергей Еранский помогал делать автопробег. Вопрос, в чём была цель пробега, ставит его в тупик.

«Наверное, это было в честь спецоперации, в честь Путина, — после минутной паузы наконец говорит Еранский. — Ну, что Россия непобедима. Я не знаю, чего мы в итоге добились, но люди были все довольны. С таким энтузиазмом махали этими флагами-шарами. Было очень смотреть приятно».

В 80-е годы Еранский служил срочником и чуть не попал в Афганистан. «Мы уже с одеялами стояли на плацу, ждали отправки, — вспоминает он. — Но кто-то дал приказ, и мы остались». Сергей рассуждает, что ему было 18 лет и он «был готов поехать в Афган, потому что был молодой и ничего не соображал». Сейчас Еранскому 60 лет, и он хотел бы пойти добровольцем на «спецоперацию» в Украине. «Но сейчас с меня толку не будет, мешаться буду, возраст не тот», — пожимает плечами Сергей.

Сергей Еранский поддерживает «спецоперацию». Он считает, что главная её цель — «устроить мир на земле».

«Мальчишечки хорошие были»

Посылки для солдат в Селендуме собирает ведущий специалист сельской администрации Ольга Дунаева. Ольга заводит журналистов в кабинет, в котором десятки картонных коробок стоят на столах, стульях и полу. Все они заклеены листами с буквой Z. На одной из коробок — надпись «водка студёная». Коробка стоит под российским гербом.

Дунаева просит селендумцев приносить строго определённые товары. В посылки можно класть шоколад, конфеты, печенье, сырокопчёную колбасу, тушёнку, носки, майки, трусы, чай и кофе в пакетиках, быстрозавариваемые каши, гель для душа, мыло, влажные салфетки, дезинфекторы для рук. В объявлении о сборе посылок говорится, что посылку «нужно сопровождать письмом или открыткой со словами поддержки наших ребят».

«Смотрите, что люди влаживают», — Ольга вынимает из одной коробки листок из школьной прописи, на котором — детские рваные буквы. Автор — восьмилетний мальчик Серёжа. «Привет солдат я желаю чтобы вы победили, — пишет Серёжа. — Ещё я желаю, чтобы вы не погибли. Мы ждём вас спасибо мой дядя там». На листке нарисован солдат, который держит чёрный флаг и что-то похожее на пистолет.

Ольга качает головой: «В Селендуме хватает патриотизма!» Она рассказывает, что селендумцы настолько сопереживают военным, что собрали за несколько дней 150 килограммов продуктов и бытовой химии.

«Ещё и политически люди меняются, — подчёркивает чиновница. — Говорят: теперь мы поддерживаем Путина. Даже если раньше не поддерживали. Вот такие мы, селендумцы».

В 80-е и 90-е годы Дунаева вручала повестки в армию селендумским парням. Она же встречала гробы с местными военными, которых привозили из Афганистана и Чечни. Ольга вспоминает, что тогда всё село плакало, потому что «мальчишечки хорошие были». Она считает, что жители переживали, потому что «мы в Селендуме все родственники: либо близкие, либо дальние».

В 1984 году в село в закрытом цинковом гробу привезли тело 21-летнего Александра Малыгина, он погиб в Афганистане. На панихиде Дунаева сидела рядом с матерью Александра. «В гробу дырочка такая была, а в ней — белая материя. И мама такая тянет её. Она хотела увидеть сына, понимаете. Мальчишка военный рядом говорит: «Ой, не надо, меня за это накажут». Она перестала. А уже после похорон сказала: «Никогда себя не прощу, что не посмотрела, что там моё дитя. Должна была вскрыть и посмотреть», — говорит Ольга.

В 1995 году в Селендуму начали привозить гробы из Чечни. В тот год погибло сразу трое парней из Селендумы. Одному было 19 лет, двум другим по 18 лет. «Мы тогда с родными разговаривали, они плакали, но говорили — ну, никто в смерти ребят не виноват. Просто такая судьба. Никто не виноват, что такие войны получились», — рассказывает Дунаева, стоя рядом с коробкой, на которой написано: «Дорогим воинам-селендумцам от коллектива убойного цеха».

Ольга Дунаева поддерживает «спецоперацию» в Украине, потому что «одна надежда на Россию».

«Никак не думала, что будет ещё война»

В 2000 году, во время второй чеченской кампании, погиб 21-летний селендумец Андрей Никонов. Его родители до сих пор живут в селе. «Сначала я никак не могла понять, зачем Андрюша погиб в этой спецоперации, ну зачем, — говорит его мать, 72-летняя Таклина Никонова. — А потом начала помаленьку осознавать — ну и чё бы, если бы Россия помаленьку дальше дробилась. Нужна же целостность. И как-то пришло понятие».

Дом Таклины и её мужа Сергея стоит рядом с железной дорогой. Мимо часто проезжают товарные поезда с углём и лесом. Напротив — заброшенный участок, по обломкам досок ходит несколько коров. К облупленному зелёному забору прибита табличка: «Здесь жил участник боевых действий, погибший при исполнении служебного долга».

Никоновы сделали мемориальный уголок в честь сына за стеклянной дверцей шкафа. Там стоит большой портрет Андрея в гражданском, маленький портрет в армейской форме, фотоальбом. Лежит орден Мужества.

«Вижу Андрюшиных одноклассников на улицах, всё время мысль: а какой бы он стал? Ребята уже толстеют, лысеют, стареют. А у меня мальчишка», — вздыхает Таклина. Она находит сына на общей фотографии из детского сада: мальчика еле видно из-за других ребят. В детстве Андрей был маленького роста.

«Я почему-то думала, что в Селендуме Андрюша будет последним из погибших, — рассуждает Таклина. — Никак не думала, что ещё будет война. Что ещё одного Андрея привезут».

Она плохо помнит похороны сына: «Военные говорили речи, кто-то ещё. Чё-то снег был вроде. Всё — в каком-то тумане». Спустя 22 года Таклина с мужем пришла на похороны Андрея Дандарова и «как будто заново всё пережила». «Те же речи, военные, оркестр, стреляли так же, — описывает она. — Ничего не меняется».

Могилы обоих Андреев на Селендумском кладбище — в ста шагах друг от друга. Памятник Никонова — выцветший, белый. Памятник Дандарова — чёрный, новый, он завален цветными венками со всех сторон.

Таклина сначала идёт к сыну, кладёт две карамельки, долго стоит у памятника, держа руку на его фотографии. Потом — к Дандарову. Для него Никонова тоже взяла пару конфет. Чтобы дотянуться до памятника, она долго пробирается между венков. «У меня как будто какая-то вина, — говорит она, доставая носовой платок. — Они не пожили, а мы-то ещё живём. Я всегда у Андрюши прощения прошу».

Через три месяца после гибели сына Никоновы получили единовременную компенсацию от государства — 100 тысяч рублей. Этих денег по ценам 2000-го года почти хватало на новую «Ладу».

Таклина с мужем не участвовали в автопробеге, который случился через неделю после похорон Андрея Дандарова. «Я не поняла этот флешмоб, — говорит она. — Слишком было радостно всё. Там не стояли, не плакали, а ехали, кричали „ура“, махали флагами, улыбались. Ну ни к чему это».

Таклина — уроженка Татарстана — называет себя патриоткой и говорит, что не любит «сильно много иностранщины». «Всякие подражания, ихние песни, ихний быт, ихнюю культуру, особенно американскую, — я не всегда понимаю это», — рассуждает она.

Таклина поддерживает «спецоперацию». Она считает, что «у украинцев давно проклёвывалось пренебрежение к нам».

Муж Таклины Сергей тоже поддерживает «спецоперацию». Он говорит, что «сейчас надо одним махом кончить с нацизмом».

В этом году сыну Никоновых Андрею исполнилось бы 43 года.
