Rosstat recorded the abnormal mortality of Russians against the background of "special operation"

Excessive mortality in March amounted to 49.1 thousand people and increased by 7 thousand dead relative to February. This follows from the data of Rosstat.

The growth of excess deaths is noted , despite the fact that the pandemic retreated and fatal outcomes from Covid by 18%. 35.6 thousand patients died over March from Covid, 43.5 thousand in February.

Thus, excessive, unconditional mortality amounted to 13.5 thousand people per month, while in February it was zero.

This figure approximately corresponds to the assessment of the losses of the Russian army, which was given to NATO. According to them, in the first month in Ukraine, our country lost from 7 to 15 thousand military. In this case, the calculation method is not disclosed. In particular, it is not clear whether the prisoners are included in this number.

The Russian Ministry of Defense on March 28 reported 1351 deceased, 3825 were injured.

Since the beginning of the year, the number of dead Russians has reached 584.6 thousand, which, in conjunction with a decrease in the birth rate, accelerated the natural decline in the population to a new historical record - 264.3 thousand people per quarter.
