The regime of constant confrontation with Ukraine/collective West is addictive, but not a sophisticated feeling of stability of weary society. There is no request for many years of confrontation with the West and a long special operation in Russian society at the absolute majority level. < ... >

In the first month of the special operation, we could talk about the situationally growing politicization of Russian public consciousness, but now there is a decrease in focusing attention at this event. Russian society remains apolitical, but total politicization is a necessary condition for the loyalty regime to the authorities in new reality.

Therefore, we should expect an increase in the activity of the authorities and the media in work in this direction. Sociologically fixed, including nominal ritual loyalism, will be tightened to the level of real and distinctly pronounced patriotism. ”
