Great Britain imposed sanctions against employees of State and Bankers

Great Britain introduced a new package of sanctions against more than 60 Russians and companies. The list is published on the website of the British Foreign Ministry.

The sanctions were the head of the Otkritie Bank, Mikhail Zadornov, the chairman of the board of the Sovcombank Dmitry Gusev, Deputy Minister of Defense Nikolai Pankov, assistant to the President of Russia Maxim Oreshkin, employees of Gossmy Evgeny Poddubny, Alexander Kots, Dmitry Steshin, Nail Asker-Zade, Mikhail Leontyev, Brian McDonald, as well as VGTRK and VGTRKS KAMAZ.

The sanctions list also included publications covering military events in Ukraine, SouthFront and Inforos.

In addition to personal sanctions, British organizations have banned Russian services in the field of management consulting, accounting and PR.

• In April 2022, she introduced additional sanctions against 206 legal and individuals of Russia because of the war in Ukraine. Then the ex-president of Lukoil Vagit Alekperov, co-owner of the financial company System Vladimir Yevtushenkov, as well as the deputy minister of transport Vladimir Yakunin, fell into the sanctions list.
• On March 24, Great Britain imposed personal sanctions against the head of Sberbank German Gref and the owner of Bank Tinkoff Oleg Tinkov. Gazprombank, Rosselkhozbank and Alfa -Bank, Russian Railways, Alrosa also came under sanctions: a total of 59 individuals and organizations from Russia and six from Belarus. Among them are plenipotentiary representatives of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal District Anatoly Seryshev and Yuri Trutnev.
• After the military invasion of the Russian troops in Ukraine and the outbreak of war, dozens of countries announced sanctions against individual companies in Russia and its citizens (these are mainly politicians and owners of large businesses close to the President of the Russian Federation). Foreign companies are massively leaving Russia, stopping the supply of goods, closing Russian production or transferring it to local administration.
