The identity of one of the military - Alexander Logvinenko - journalists established thanks to a love letter, which was found in one of the partially burned houses on Yablonskaya Street , where Russian soldiers lived.
Oksana Rybakova, who sent a letter, calls Logvinenko “his soldier”, including how her pregnancy flows. “Pusia, I love you insanely strongly, I really miss you and wait. I know and believe that you will return, everything will be fine with you. You are the main thing to take care of yourself! You hear, we are waiting for you! " - The letter says.
According to the owner of the house of a 50-year-old engineer Vitaly Zhivotovsky, he found a letter among the documents of local residents who were detained or interrogated by the Russian military. Zhivotovsky himself, his 20-year-old daughter and neighbor lived with the soldiers for about a week, until they managed to escape. They occupied one basement room, and in the other, according to the engineer’s testimonies, the military brought people with white bags on their heads. Zhivotovsky told Reuters that he became a witness to at least one alleged extrajudicial execution .
Journalists found Rybakov in the Pskov region and contacted her on the phone. The girl confirmed that she was in a relationship with Logvinenko and that she sent a letter (later, shortly before the publication of Rybakov, she changed her account in social networks and denied relations with Logvinenko).
According to Rybakova, the soldier serves in parachute troops and has been far from the house for several weeks in connection with the military tasks. She did not specify which unit belongs to Logvinenko. He himself did not answer the journalists. Reuters suggests that he served in the 76th Guards Airborne School Division, which is deployed in the Pskov region.
Another soldier of the division was installed by the Wolf_68 inscription on the wall of the house, located next to the house of Zhivotovsky (according to witnesses, one group of soldiers occupied these houses). The agency found the native of Tambov Kirill Kryuchkov, who uses Wolf_68 options as a nickname in social networks. Two acquaintances Kryuchkov confirmed that he served in the 234th Airborne School Regiment, which is part of the 76th division. One of them stated that Kryuchkov was in Ukraine.
Among other evidence of the presence of the paratroopers of the 76th division, the investigation listed a list of radio calls of the 104th airborne assault regiment and a document, which states that officers of military unit No. 74268 were checked in Buch and part and the regiment are part of the 76th division. Reuters claims that the journalists received these documents from the inhabitants of Buchi, who found them among those thrown on the streets of the city.
In the building on Yablonskaya Street, 144, where, according to local residents, the Russian military organized the headquarters, employees of the National Guard of Ukraine found a certificate in the name of the corporal Konstantin Korshunov from military unit No. 3179, which is part of the Vityaz Rosguard division.

Reuters found that Korshunov was born in Penza, he was 23 years old. His two acquaintances confirmed that he serves in the Russian Guard and is now on a business trip. One of the interlocutors of journalists said that Korshunov serves in part No. 3179, which is part of the “Vityaz”.
In addition, according to journalists, in other settlements of the Kyiv region - Lubyanka, Gostol and Borodanka - there were Chechen units during the Russian occupation. Five eyewitnesses told Reuters that they saw the military from Chechnya in Buch. A resident of one of the houses on Yablonskaya Street Vladimir Abramov and his daughter Irina claim that it was the natives of Chechnya who shot her husband Oleg.
The authorities of Ukraine accuse the murders of civilians of the Buchi of the Russian military. Russia denies these accusations, calling what happened in Buch "provocation" and"production." At the same time, there are independent evidence that the bodies of the dead inhabitants of Buchi began to appear on the streets of the city when he was still under the control of the Russian military.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine connected the crimes in the buch of the military personnel of the 64th separate motorized rifle brigade of the Ground Forces of the Russian Federation. Prosecutor General of Ukraine Irina Venediktova published a list of 10 names of the military of this brigade suspected of cruelty to the civilian population. At the same time, three people from the list told the “agency” that they had long fired from the service.
In addition, the Ukrainian prosecutor's office suspects involvement in the murders in Bucca by a man named Sergey Kolotsey, who is allegedly commanded by a division of the Russian Guard. The department published his photo from the department of SDEK delivery service in the Belarusian Mozyr. Koloca himself said that he did not serve in the Russian Guard, is in Belarus and did not visit Ukraine recently.
