The Russian Ministry of Justice has included rapper Alisher Morgenstern in the register of individuals who are “foreign agents.” According to the department’s website, he allegedly received funding from Ukraine and the Israeli company Yoola, which monetizes YouTube videos.
The Russian authorities have added the human rights project Apologia and seven people to the list of “foreign agent” media outlets: associates of politician Alexei Navalny Vladimir Milov and Lyubov Sobol, politician Leonid Gozman, sociologist Boris Kagarlitsky, director of the Internet Defense Society Mikhail Klimarev, content director of the Greenhouse of Social Technologies Natalia Baranova, and Denis Konstantinov.
