The Russian Consulate General in Edinburgh announced the hacking of its Instagram account after an anti -war post appeared there. It is reported by RBC.
The post was said (author's spelling was preserved): “I, the Consul General of Russia in Edinburgh, A. Yakovlev, categorically condemn the behavior of the military special operation of the RF Armed Forces against the sovereign, independent state of Ukraine. I comprehensively support any help from the Armed Forces from the EU countries. ” The text accompanied the frame from the clip released at the end of April with the re -leggings of the song "Scriabin" "Missa Schaaslavich".

“Consul General Andrei Yakovlev did not make such statements,” writes RBC with reference to the consulate.
This was the first post in this account since 2019. There was no link to this Instagram on the consulates and in other social networks by the time this news was written. At the same time, the account was marked by a checkmark as an official one.
