The Independent Media media holding has changed the names of the Russian-language versions of the magazines Esquire, Domashniy Ochag, Cosmopolitan and Menʼs Health, according to the Roskomnadzor register. The publication Sobaka.ru drew attention to the changes.
According to the register, the magazines were registered under new names back in April. Thus, "Home" became "New Hearth" , Cosmopolitan — Cosmagazine , Menʼs Health — Men today , Esquire — "Rules of Life" (by analogy with one of the popular sections of the magazine).
On May 5, in an interview with Peopletalk, Independent Media CEO Natalia Vesnina said that the company would continue to publish Russian-language versions of American magazines under new brands. She did not name the new titles of the publications.
