The lawyer of the Crimean activist Irina Danilovich did not find her in the Simferopol pre-trial detention center

Lawyer Ayder Azamatov came to the Simferopol pre-trial detention center on May 6, where he was looking for his client, a nurse and citizen journalist Irina Danilovich. The SIZO staff verbally denied the report that she was there. Azamatov left a lawyer's request to be provided with information about the detainee. This is reported by the Krym.Realii publication, citing a lawyer.

Information that Danilovich may be in the Simferopol pre-trial detention center appeared on Facebook, the head of the Crimean Tatar resource center, Eskender Bariev. Bariev wished the activist a speedy release and urged her to come and congratulate her on her birthday.

The last time Danilovich got in touch was on April 29, before her arrest. Presumably, the girl was detained by law enforcement officers at 6 am, while she was returning from work. On the same day, the activists' parents' house was searched. The security forces did not issue a copy of the search warrant and did not name the article imputed to Danilovich, however, they informed her that she had been sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest. The activist's father filed a complaint with the police about the kidnapping of his daughter.

Now the whereabouts of Danilovich and the article imputed to her are still unknown, Azamatov suggests that the civil activist may be in a temporary detention center, special detention center or pre-trial detention center.
