In Samara, on May 8, activists Vladimir Avdonin, Yegor Beschastnov, as well as Vtulkin and Naumov were searched under the article on knowingly false reporting of a terrorist attack (207 of the Criminal Code). “Idel.Realities” is about this.
Avdonin reports that three police officers and an employee of the Center for Combating Extremism came to him at about 15:30.
Security forces seized anti-war posters and banners, a laptop, a collection of election leaflets of political parties and books from the activist.
The police officer tried to convince the activist to “stop engaging in any political activities.” In addition, he threatened Avdonin with a criminal case under the article on “fakes” and said that he was “coming out to protest out of idleness.”
The security forces presented the activist with a search warrant, from which he learned about the criminal case filed under the article on knowingly false reporting of an act of terrorism. It followed from the document that on May 6, a certain man posted on Gosuslugi threatening to commit terrorist attacks on May 9 - “as retribution for the crimes of Russian subhumans against the Third Reich.”
It is unknown what status the activists are in the criminal case.
