In Moscow, a member of the Human Rights Council under the President of the Russian Federation Andrei Babushkin died. This was announced by a member of the HRC Eva Merkacheva.

Grandma was 58 years old.
On the eve of Merkachev, she reported that Babushkin was taken to intensive care due to exacerbation of a long-standing disease.
Babushkin has been part of the Human Rights Council since 2012. He was also a member of the Moscow Public Supervisory Commission.
In 1996, Babushkin founded a charity human rights organization “Committee for Civil Rights”. He was one of the developers of the amnesty project in connection with the 55th anniversary of Victory in 2000, and also developed several provisions of amendments to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation of 2003 regarding the humanization of sentences.
