The Velikoluksky District Court fined pensioner Ivan Kotkov for 30 thousand rubles for a video in VKontakte, which the court considered the "discredit" of the Russian army. This was reported to the North. Reali correspondent by Kotkov himself.
Kotkova was found guilty for a short video, which shows a pensioner’s car with a “no war” sticker. On it, Kotkov drove children to school. The video was accompanied by the words: "Children! Who needs this war? What is this war for?"
“It was predictable. The judge seems to understand a lot, but he has a law. I was told that if I do not agree with Putin’s decision on a special operation - this is a discrediting of the army. I will still continue to talk. Maybe now it’s not about the“ special operation ”and the world, but about life, for example,” Kotkov said. He promised that he would appeal the court decision.
Earlier, Kotkova was already fined for 30 thousand rubles for an anti -war sticker. The pensioner did not plead guilty.
Ivan Kotkov reached the first anti -war picket on February 24 - on the day of the invasion of Russian troops in Ukraine. He stood with the poster "He is not a god, he is a killer." “I am for peace, I am against the war. Today's war is even worse, it is between fraternal peoples. Thanks to this power, we Russians have moved away from the whole world,” he explained his position.
On February 26, Kotkov reached the second picket with the poster "No War." He was detained 15 minutes later, a poster was seized in the department and an explanation was taken from the farmer. Kotkov said that he was warned that if he once again enters the action, he would be arrested. After that, the pensioner did not go to the pickets, but pasted the “no war in Ukraine” on his personal car.
