A month later, the recording appeared on the Internet. Commentators began to insult the teacher. “I reacted to bullying very painfully - no one had ever insulted me like that in my life. And I’m still in a position. I was very worried. Everything was discussed - from my appearance and nationality to my personal life. They wrote down to the point of “let her die.” People, what’s wrong with you?!” - the teacher is perplexed.

The brothers were taken to the basement, where they were interrogated for three days. As Suspilne clarifies, the interrogation took place on the territory of a sawmill in the village of Vishnevoe. Besides the brothers, there were also wounded soldiers there. On the fourth day the situation worsened - the men began to be tortured.

“They beat me all over my body with a metal rod and put the barrel of a gun in my mouth,” recalls Nikolai Kulichenko. According to him, they were tortured until they lost consciousness.

They were then blindfolded, their hands and feet tied with tape, after which five Russian soldiers took the brothers to a vacant lot. There they dug a hole for them, and forced the men themselves to their knees.

Soon Kulichenko heard shots from behind - the military were the first to shoot his older and younger brothers. When Nikolai was shot, the bullet hit his cheek and came out next to his right ear - the man pretended to be dead.

The soldiers threw the brothers' bodies into a hole and covered it with earth. Nikolai cannot say how long he lay in the hole, but after some time he managed to get out from under his older brother’s body with his hands and feet tied.

“It was hard for me to breathe, since Dima was lying on top of me, but with my hands and knees I was able to push my older brother to the side, after which I got out,” Kulichenko said.

He walked to the nearest house, where local resident Valentina Petrova let him in. “I saw that he was beaten, blue, in the ground. I invited him into the house to wash and have breakfast. I packed him up a little for the road, and he left,” she says. — When we meet, we always hug. He became like family to us.”

The prosecutor of the Chernihiv District Prosecutor's Office, Sergei Khamaiko, confirmed to Suspilna Novyny that the brothers were shot in the head, their hands and legs were tied.
