The United States has reopened its embassy in the Ukrainian capital, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said.
"This day came. Today we are officially reopening the US Embassy in Kyiv,” the head of the US State Department said in a statement. According to him, additional measures were taken to ensure the safety of diplomats returning to Kyiv.
As the representative of the American embassy Daniel Langenkamp explained , a small number of diplomats are returning to the capital of Ukraine. The US Embassy will not provide consular services for the time being, and the State Department's travel ban recommendations remain in place throughout Ukraine, he added.
