Pepsico, which after the start of the war in Ukraine, stopped supplying Pepsi, Mirinda and 7up to the Russian market, launched a new line specifically for Russia. Their shipment to retail chains is scheduled in June. This is written by Izvestia.
According to the source of the publication, the new line of drinks will be made under the Russian Gift brand, which is now used for kvass. Among them, for example, lemonades with the taste of orange and lemon with lime.
Earlier about Pepsico plans to produce drinks specifically for the Russian market, Kommersant wrote with reference to the presentation prepared by the company. In addition to the "Russian gift", the New Cola and Fruitz trademarks were also mentioned.
Due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, another manufacturer of carbonated drinks, the American company Coca-Cola, also suspended its work in Russia. In mid-May, the Ochakovo plant presented the replacement of Coca-Cola, Fanta and Sprite. Drinks received the names CoolCola, Fancy and Street. The shape of the bottle and design of drinks from the new "Ochakovo" line is similar to the original ones, only the label differs, on which letters C, F or S are used instead of the usual logos.
