Barnaul journalist Maria Ponomarenko talked with the project “ North. Realities ". She wrote a letter from the pre -trial detention center, where he was in the case of the distribution of “fakes” about the Russian army. The journalist faces an opinion for up to 10 years.
Ponomarenko spoke about her detention, a conversation with an investigator and staying in a isolator. According to her, during the detention, the security forces behaved correctly, while the investigator did not give her the opportunity to make a call.
Then the journalist was sent to court, who, according to her, "showed a complete neglect of the laws and the Constitution." The judge sent a woman to a pre -trial detention center, where she is in a cell for 18 people. “The team is decent, it does not particularly differ from the usual women's office,” she said.
The journalist already thinks what he will do at large, although he believes that this will be possible only after the “change of regime” in the country. She would like to reform or nursing or nursing houses, as well as the adaptation program for the released prisoners.
The main reason for the persecution, Ponomarenko considers his journalistic activity in Barnaul, from where she moved to St. Petersburg recently.
