"Important Stories" established a military person from an article about murders in Buch

The publication "Important Stories" established the identity of the Russian military from the article by The New York Times on the mass execution of the inhabitants of Buchi. Presumably, this can be a native of Magadan Genghis Atantaev, who lived in Pskov.

On May 20, The New York Times published a material in which she spoke about the murder of nine residents of Ukrainian Buchi. The publication claims that the Russian military found men in one of the houses, interrogated them, and then shot in the courtyard of a neighboring building.

The article published a video from the video surveillance camera, on which the faces of several Russian paratroopers are visible. "Important stories" suggest "with a high degree of probability" that the video has 37-year-old Genghis Atantaev. He was born in Magadan, but lives in Pskov. There are 104 and 234 landing and navigation regiments (military unit 32515 and military unit 74268, respectively), which, according to The New York Times, were engaged in cleaning buchi.

The “important stories” found the social networks of Atantaev, in them it is signed for groups related to the army. In 2017, he appealed to the Pskov court with a request to recognize the minor daughter of his wife as a member of the family of a military man.

The last time Atantaev entered his page in VKontakte on April 12. The publication called the wife of a soldier Tatyana Chesnak, but she refused to answer the questions of journalists. She stated that the article in The New York Times is a fake.
