Forest fires passed more than 200 thousand hectares in Siberia

Forest fires continue in the regions of Siberia. The situation is the most difficult in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Irkutsk region, Transbaikalia and Tuva.

The area of ​​fires in the regions of the Siberian Federal District, as well as in Buryatia and Transbaikalia per day decreased from 51.3 thousand hectares to 49.3 thousand ha. This follows from the Aviation Service on May 24.

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the area of ​​fires increased per day from 17.8 to 18.9 thousand hectares. And in Transbaikalia, on the contrary, decreased from 14 to 10 thousand hectares.

In the Irkutsk region, 12.4 thousand hectares are covered with fire, in Tuva - 4.8 thousand hectares. In Khakassia, the area of ​​fires increased from 1.3 to 2.8 thousand hectares.

In total, since the beginning of the year, the fire passed in Siberia 228.1 thousand hectares.
